5-liter Ilves jar made by Riihimäen Lasi. Ilves jars. These sympathetic glass jars with a raised-relief lynx were put into production at the beginning of the 1950s. Originally, they were designed purely for household and preserving use, but today they are very popular collectibles and interior-decoration items in Finnish homes. The characteristic Ilves logo was originally designed by architect Oiva Kallio.
Note! This jar has one small crack (shown in the picture), but the crack is inside the glass, not all the way through. It cannot be felt with a finger from either side, so it does not affect use. Otherwise, normal signs of use. I am putting several of these jars in different sizes up for sale.
