Vintage rocking office chair/kneeling chair
Vintage Stokke ergonomic kneeling chair, originally designed by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik. This classic mid-20th-century chair promotes active sitting, improves posture and naturally relieves lower-back strain by perfectly balancing weight. The chair fits neatly under any standard desk to save space.
The chair has a unique black fabric cover from a previous owner: black textured upholstery with a Nordic woven band in the center gives it a beautiful, subtle “Scandinavian bohemian” charm. In good condition, with some wear under the legs (see the last pictures), but this does not affect use. The curved bentwood frame is sturdy, neat and rocks smoothly.
Width: 52 cm. Depth (length): 72 cm. Height: 51 cm. Seat height: 50 cm. Pickup preferably from Mellunmäki, but I can also disassemble it and send it by post.
